How can one get involved with writting technical articles for aerospace magazine

How can one do freelance work for AFM or AWST?

I am going on a trip and would like to use the opportunity to see certain facilities and if people willing be able to document at write about them.

Dont get me wrong I have a job but I want to do it just to be able to learn about said facilities.
