…to having a FLYING Tempest in this world again? Can anyone provide a definitive answer or time frame? Looking through the Warbirds Worldwide directory volume 3 last night, it seems like it should have happened by now, but it has’nt…and why not? Seems there are a few around…?

Bet the Tempest would’ve made a GREAT carrier plane, with those wide gear, maybe some folding wings and a tailhook…they ever try it that way?

I believe that the engine is the hold up, and may not even been started yet??? 🙁 🙁
The rest of the airframe and systems are probably near complete. 🙂 🙂
