How do I post photos of crashed WW2 Lancaster aircraft parts to be identified ?

Can anyone give me an idiots guide (and I mean idiots) how to post some photos of some pieces of a crashed Lancaster I have been given. They originate from an aircraft shot down in 1943.They are undamaged (one looks like the rear chain wheel you would get on a small bycycle) and Im sure someone on the forum will be able to tell me what they are and where in the aircraft they originate from.

If they are digital click ‘Reply to Thread’ then ‘Go Advanced’ then ‘Manage Attachments’ then ‘Add Files’ then ‘Select Files’…

…is that really the best way?

I haven’t posted any / many photographs on the new forum format but that seems unnecessarily complicated!

Also the maximum file size is (was?) limited to about 300kB.

These are prints?

Do you have access to a scanner (often incorporated in printers these days) ?
