I’m attempting to find an old thread I started on this forum, probably in 2021, in which I asked advice in respect of the radius of an aircraft’s turning circle. The aircraft type was a Halifax although I have a feeling I did not mention this particular. I apologise for being so vague but I have tried searching for my user-name, Lyffe, – which comes up with zilch – and “turning circle” or “radius” but the only results I seem to get are useless articles – I simply want to find an old thread on this forum.
By way of caveat I’m 99% sure it was this forum, but even if it wasn’t how can I access old posts/threads specific to it?

The search facility’s been crap for many years, even before the changeover.
I’ve always found Google much more use.

To find something on a specific site using a general search engine such as google or DuckDuckGo, enter the search term(s) you are looking for followed by (in the case of this forum) site:key.aero/forum. That should more effectively restrict the search results to only matches from the website or forum specified rather than simply using the site name as one of the general search terms.

My apologies, I thought I’d posted a ‘Thank you’ but I obviously didn’t. Yes, that was the thread I was looking for and I’m very grateful for your help avion ancien. Merci.

I’ve found that the forum search engine produces a great deal less than using google in conjunction with appropriate key words. I did so and came up with this post – https://www.key.aero/forum/historic-aviation/turning-circle-hp-halifax – initiated by you on 31 October 2020. The key words that I used were – halifax key aero turning circle lyffe.
