i own a web site design company. www.offbeatwebdesign.co.uk.

Personally I use Fireworks MX, by far the best prog for making animated gifs, as you can do so many advanced things with it, and it itergrates with all the other mx progs.

Get into MX and you cant go far wrong!

any more help need just email me and I will try my best to help!

LOL

But seriosuly if you want an animated gif the best program by far to use is Adobe Image Ready,

Kabir, yes flash is a good tool for animations, you cannot put a flash .swf file as an avatar for example so you need a different type of file… but if its just for a website banner than, either have a still one (recomended for most things) or use flash 🙂

I’m currently using Babarosa GIF Animator 3.5 which is actually shareware. However, my version was downloaded from www.download.com

The image you create will say “trial” all over it, but if you just copy and paste a white patch over the entire image, you’ll cover it up and nobody will ever know the difference.

The only problem is that Download.com has only got version 3.6, not sure what the difference is or if you can use this little trick to get around the “trial” problem.
