How hard would it be….

for a Yank in the states (such as myself) to learn Welsh? I’m seriously considering giving it a try so that, when next I get over there, I can try it out when I get back to Wales. Recent research has shown that my family came from Tintern in Wales and now I’m fascinated with the prospect of learning the language…so how hard is it to learn this language? Any folks from Wales or nearby want to give me any tips, pointers, or advice?
