ManU attendees at the ground are 85% manc and then a liberal sprinkling (Say 70 coaches) from all over the country – and Northern Ireland.
The Fan base is however worldwide.
I would hazard a guess that Manc and Greater Manc’s footy fans are probably 70% Utd and 30% City.

Hi PeeDee Thanks for the Avatar info. I watched the game, which must admit, I am not usualy interested in, and watched it from the 1st Goal,My 14 yrs old Grandson is a Chelsea supporter, and boy, don’t these footie clubs charge for their supporters home and away shirts.
I know it’s all about money at the end of the day, and tempers with players get frayed, however, I am sure there is no excuse for one player to foul another, which incidentaly may injure the “Attacked” player for life, and end his carreer.
And yes, I am fully aware of the grounds spectator/supporters capacity, for the info of some who think I don’t.
Will no doubt watch the reds just out of interest.

As a Manc Blue, my smile is bigger than the Grand Canyon and I’ve been hoppin n skippin, and people at work have remarked “Hope you’re not going to behave like this every 30 years!” LoL.

However, I shall still be supporting Manc Red in their European final. How many Manc Reds would support Manc Blue if it was vicky verky? Not many I guess because most Man U fans only see Man U and not football per se.
I love sweeping generalisations, they are usually correct!

With near capacity crowds week in and week out I’m afraid that joke doesn’t really work.
