Do you know when and where it occured? Also why his gear wasn’t able to deploy? It is a hell of a photo!
Gary,
The Aussie F-111 was actually landing. A very good landing too – considering he had no undercarriage to land with!!CC

Well you know what they say…
Expert = “Ex” as in former and a “spurt” is a drip under pressure…

I’ve had some “experts” say this is a photoshop job. Do you know where and when this flyby occured?
Cheers

The link doesn’t work when you click it, so here it is again:
A shame that the video doesn’t show the very slow rudder turn they did at the end of the display before landing.

Jesus!
Why the hell was he performing aeros with the gear down anyway? That won’t do much for his airspeed!
Maybe he had a premonition of his impending crash landing.. wheels down ready.:D

What colour were the pilot’s underpants? Having seen that I can say without a doubt they were brown:):)

Good to see this thread has picked up speed (and no altitude) again! 😀
Here’s one I haven’t seen before: an L-29 Delphin overcooks it a little…

I did find a stunning shot from that sequence, of Spitfire EP120 climbing up above the train, but I can’t find it now.
