We had 235 in all our 752’s until they started the transatlantics when they reconfigured a few at a lower count (187 IIRC). We had 280 in the 753.

You’re thinking of a 752.
752 is 233.
I am pretty confident of my numbers as it is the type I fly and with XL we put the maximum number of seats in. The figures are based on getting everyone out in 90 seconds so the door configuration is the deciding factor. Floor stressing also does play a part as one of our 767’s had to be additionally stressed to accept the 325 seats we put in it. I will check the AFM next time I am at work and let you know what I find.

Delta only have 212 in the 763ER’s,in a two class layout. There are different door configs that govern how many seats they can have.Thomsonfly have 4 large doors(on each side) allowing a greater number to be seated. For safety those sort of doors are required as a greater number of people can get out throught the standard sized doors.Delta and many others only have three large doors(on each side) & one over wing exit(like the 737 type).American have even less with only two large doors & two over wing exits on each side.

Yep GKirk you are right the max certified number of seats for the 763 is 350
http://www.airliners.net/info/stats.main?id=104
Would this configuration have a 29” or less seat pitch?

Hugh Jarse, whilst 290 is correct for the 762, the 763 is certified to somewhere around 350 🙂
By: Hugh Jarse - 27th August 2006 at 19:30
326 is the max certified load in a 763 and 290 in a 762.

Scheduled carriers 767-300s seat fewer passengers. I am sure that British Airways 767s seat around 250.

I think its 335 max in a an all economy layout but most airlines who have them in this layout such as thomsonfly and mytravel? have 328 as their total seat numbers. Hope this helps
