At the risk of elbowing my way in, to date I have taped around 100 interviews with British, german, Russian, American and Italian veterans for a major project now well underway. There are a few significant aircraft types still missing, and yes you’ve guessed it, the Whirlwind is one of them ( the Whitley is another by the way).

So, if there is any chance of joining the party and meeting up with one of these chaps to get his story recorded, please can I?

The last I heard Hap Kennedy and Jo Coyne in Canada. Snapper knew of one in the UK, but that was a couple of years ago.
