I’ve just been on Carsurvey.org/air to vote for new reviews and I saw one about BMI between Chicago and Manchester. These people were so angry with BMI that the plane went tech on the ground so could not take off safely that they created an entire website devoted to how bad BMI are. Check this out
I can understand that they would get annoyed but creating a whole site dedicated to trashing BMI just because they kept an aircraft on the ground for customers’ safety is pathetic. Why can’t people just accept that delays happen? I for one would rather be put up in a hotel overnight than be on a flight that will have to divert or worse still will end up crashing.
I apologise if you all think this is a pointless thread but I was completely shocked that people will go to this length based on one delay. Am I just over reacting to this or do you all think it’s completely pathetic too?

Freaks! If that’s all they’ve got to do in their sad little lives, making a website telling people not to fly an airline…well I rest my case completely. How would they have liked it if their aircaft had crashed into the atlantic ocean with them onboard instead? still wouldn’t be happy I suppose.

Just saw BMI’s A330 fly overhead for the first time on finals into YYZ yesterday. Coincidently.

If they think it’s bad up there then they won’t want to come down here that’s for sure!

Clearly this guy thinks he is an expert at complaining and all customer service departments around the globe know his type well. I hope bmi sarcastically tell him that they will miss his business dearly . What a sad, sad to$$er! 😀

If they know the terms of Low-cost which means lower service levels… Well, then they should agree. And If they want service of a class, then they shouldn’t have flown BMI. By the way, whats wrong with BMI’S service? They were just in bad luck.

I have always found that BMI offer the lowest fares between the Netherlands and London.

Now that is totally pathetic to say the least! 😡
By: LBARULES - 22nd June 2004 at 16:09
I saw this yesterday, I almost posted it on here. It is totally pathetic, look at the amount of trouble free flights that BMi have ever year, and then he has 1 bad 1 and he thinks no one else should fly them. Loser.

I wonder if this is the same guy that runs (or at least used to) a similar website about BA.
1L.

Well I’m glad you’re all as disgusted about this as me. I can’t believe people will go to such lengths to rubbish an airline based on one bad experience that can happen to any airline at any time. Thought you’d all be pleased to know that the review has been deleted from Carsurvey.org. Deleted reviews do however have a habit of re-appearing so let’s hope this one doesn’t.

In other BMI news, the recently launched Glasgow-Knock service has been shelved with BMI citing poor PAX loads and competition from Ryanair’s Prestwick-Shannon service.
They wish to stress that the service has not been axed, but merely shelved.

You basically book a ticket to go from A to B. If you refuse the alternative offered, then you have only yourself to blame! At least they got a free hotel night, unlike my treatment by Lufthansa some years ago when I was stranded in Frankfurt! The hotel room there cost a bomb! But in that case the weather was to blame (blizzard in Sweden).
