How to build a Nuclear Submarine June 27th 8PM

I have just seen an advert for this documentary coming up on the BBC and thought it may be of interest here. If Submarines are not your thing, the next couple in the series look like a major service on a Chinook and testing a Jet Engine.

Running Time: 60 minutes (approx)

Fourteen years in the making and costing over a billion pounds, the Astute nuclear submarine is one of the most technologically advanced machines in the world. This documentary follows the team working on the boat and uses computer graphics to go inside the construction of the submarine itself, giving a blueprint of the design, the life-support systems and the weaponry.
