standing at my local bust stop this morning on my way to a training course
when all of a sudden there was the fammiliar sound of WHUMPH !!
one of our feathered avian friends ( better known as flying rats ) had dissapeared into a peugots air filter leaving a plume of feathers !!
i had a hearty chuckle to myself thinking that’s one less of the basta**s
it became even funnier as the sparrows dived down to collect the feathers for their nests
isn’t nature a superb recycler !!

Agreed.
The Gulls round here chase the sky rats off.
And, it’s the Gulls not Dogs n Cats which raid the bustbins and rip them open.

The neighbourhood cats try to keep a handle on most of the feathered rats around here, but the bigger problem is the gulls! Bloody sh*te-hawks…!

I think we need to know more about this “bust stop”. One can only wonder what that might be.

Ah, another pigeon “fan”?! :diablo:;)
Here, we (still) have a thriving population, despite the efforts of my three cats and myself, armed with my trusty BSA .22.
My cats receive a reward when they bring one home… 😀

I had the misfortune to have a sky-rat explode on my windscreen, trouble was, it jammed into the wiper arm and I had to look at it for several miles until next services.
When I parked up, several Crows had already spotted / smelt it, and were waiting nearby. I fed them.
