Howard 500 still at Coventry?

She looked and sounded good few weeks back except for leaking a lot oil out of the prop hub.

Still there today, a nice looking aeroplane.

Talking to a couple of guys maintaining it a while ago they didn’t seem in any rush; but were going over everything in minute detail. Seems to me to be the best way of doing things if it’s going across the Atlantic.

Thanks guys hopefully it will hold on until mid June!

I think it will be here for a few months yet, but that is in no way official !

It was there yesterday, in fact it has been outside all week and it looked (from afar) as if things were being done to it.

If I can find anything out next week i will post again – unless anyone with more inside knowledge posts in the meantime.
