I read, in my Handley Page Association, newsletter that the HP42 project had gone ‘dormant’. Anybody out there know anything about it?

Yep, I had heard/read there were two seperate organisations – one of them exhibited at the DH Moth Rally, Woburn in August.

I think I read somewhere that were two separate HP42 replica projects on the go – one airworthy and the other static,produced by different organisations.

Seems genuine enough, you have to copy and paste the link to the website, as if you click on www.imperial-airways.com you end up going onto a website about Miles aircraft!

The project went public on April 1st, 2004, so I am a bit sceptical. 😀
