Nice one, what were you doing up there. That was my old stomping ground when I was a kid, we used to cycle over and watch the ‘Flying Bedstead’ with horror from the safety of the trees, can you believe that ‘The Blue Angels’ once performed from there, those were the days, but nice to see the tradition being carried on.
I was up there seing a freind and then we where going on to Old Buckenham the next day. But neither of us fancied a even earlier start than we had to get to Old Buckenham. So i went up saturday morning and my freind lives not far from Hucknall so we decided to spend the day there.

Dust on my CCD drives me bonkers! Anyone have any feedback on the new “self cleaning” CCD’s? Does it actually work or is it just one more silly button in a huge list of bells and whistles!?!?

Nice Pics. It is great to see A/C out away from all the clutter of the big airfields…makes shooting so much nicer!
Might check your CCD, seems to be some recurring spots, I get the same thing with my Canon from time to time. Keep up the great work. Thanks for sharing.
I am aware of my dirty ccd and i havd tried to get rid of as many dust spots as possibel before posting them but i have missed a few.
