As I’m getting closer to being able to reconstruct the nose portion of XF940’s cockpit, from Frame 3 to Frame 6, in no small part thanks to Matt (Stacey24b) for locating and getting hold of a Frame 3 bulkhead panel and ARI.5820 mounting frame, I am on the lookout for a Radar Ranging head assembly that fits into the Hunter nose.
Annoyingly, I had one several years ago, but passed it on as at the time it seemed unlikely I’d ever be able to reconstruct the section forward of the Fr.6 pressure bulkhead – how things change eh?
If anyone knows of one complete, or is planning on visiting Shoreham next week and has one, please let me know.
