Hunter cockpit lp/hp levers

We are trying to get hunter ga11 running at bruntingthorpe however after gathering most of the missing parts and asking all the main hunter operators we have failed to get hold of any hp or lp cockpit teleflex levers this is a request for all forum member to have a look in there supplies and see if you have any we have some parts for exchange if needed to acquire the above but this is now the main stumbling block to the ga11 running again the engine is due on site next week but obviously need to rig throttle system first

Thank in advance

I have definitely got the LP c0ck side plate, and a set of MB2H seat lap straps (NOS). I have hauled what seems like tons of spares out onto the workshop floor in hunting for this LP teleflex lever and I just cannot find it, so I can only think I passed it onto someone a while back. I know I had one as it was NOS and tagged. Let me know if you want some photo’s of the bits I do have….

Be interested in a photo of the bulkhed you have as I have one that has been gas-axed, which is causing me a few issues at the moment. I’ll PM my email address if you like?

Have you had a look to see if a JP LP-c0ck teleflex lever will fit? Bound to have a wrong part number but I doubt it’ll be that significantly different that it couldn’t be modified to fit.

If you look at the attached photo of my F.4 cockpit (photo by Mark Gauntlett & his copyright), you will see the LP lever. To the inboard side of the lever is a radius plate that makes up the RH side of the quadrant. This screws to the three mounting holes on the LP teleflex lever that mount it to the shelf (with special bolts IIRC) to make up the full quadrant, and also has the ‘OFF – LP FUEL C0CK – ON’ decal plate. I definitely have one of those available 😀

I’m not at all sure I still have the LP lever. I know I DID have one spare, but can’t recall if I passed it on but will check tomorrow.

I have available a set of LAP straps for a 2H seat, but they ‘owe me’ quite a lot of money. I’d be happy to swap them for something I need, but I’m actually looking for someone who can make me up a skin panel for my nose in front of the bulkhead. If you know anyone who can so that at a good (ie cheap) price….. 😀

Anyhow, the attached photo that should show you what I mean re. the LP lever quadrant… if anyone is interested, the main flying panel is now slightly different as I’ve managed to retrofit the correct Mod.502 switches and decal/guard plate to the lower LH side where the filler is currently riveted in 😉

will try and get part numbers tomorrow

what we have is a pair of teleflex cables at the bottom of a hole in the console and nowt else i’ll take a photo of what’s there it is the only missing part from the cockpit although we do need harnesses for the seat as well when it comes to taxiing

haven’t had a good look at the other spares post a photo of what your after and anything else and i’ll see if anything matches up and we can arrange a mutual swop

that is the name of the game as we are running the restoration on a not for profit basis if poss

Think I may have an LP c0ck lever, but I can’t be 100% certain as I did pass quite a few bits off to other Hunter cockpit restorers. I’ll try and have a butchers through my store tomorrow.

If I do find it, I ‘need’ a pair of leg-line attachment blocks that bolt to the cockpit floor on the Hunter 😀

I know I definitely have the decal/attachment plate that fits to the lever/shelf – not sure if you need one of those too?
