Back in January 2005, Joe Petroni stopped at Fleet Hargate to photograph this Hunter, which gave us this thread ….

Well today I stopped off at the same place to photograph the same aircraft, which, I think, has not changed too much, in fact looks to be well cared for ? the colours may still be wrong for the purists, but still providing protection for the airframe ? and luckily still looks intact …. no parts obviously missing (to my inexperienced eye) …. What do you think ??

As for the tyres … well the mains are showing signs of ‘deflation’ setting in …. but it is a minor point …. soon corrected we hope
That’s one of the problems, getting a supply to them, we use walkround bottles at work so I can inflate them on ours not in the hangars. but saying that considering all things they are not that bad.

Thank you all very much for those kind words, I knew this would be accepted as a well looked after aircraft, and would like to pass on my thanks to those people who look after it, a local ATC group I believe ? would anybody know which one ??

1st thing I always look at are the tyres, if they are still inflated its a good start, looks the biz don’t she.

The aircraft looks to be in excellent condition and a credit to every one associated with it.
Thanks for sharing these photos with us.
