Hunter G-BWGL to the Netherlands?

Hi All,

in some Dutch media there was the message that G-BWGL was purchased by a group called the Dutch Hawker Hunter Foundation. It is supposed to arrive at Leeuwarden airbase coming Tuesday.
Can anyone of the British forumites confirm this?
It would be fantastic:) 🙂 🙂 🙂

Will she come to the Kemble Air Day on 17th June to join Delta Jets’ Hunters?

Albert, she’s not on my official list, but then it changes from one minute to the next, so I am unable to confirm.

My fellow Dutchman….

Take a look at http://www.henkheli.fotopic.net/p41168686.html . Yes, the lettering has been painted somewhat too thin but I’d say this is photo-proof (even in these days of photoshopping!).

(After some more searching…) Even better, look at
http://www.milspotters.nl/index.php?pagina=nieuwsread&id=57 !

Nice photo but she does’nt look like that any more the new paint job is allmost finished as I left the hanger today lol

I’ll put some photo’s on either Monday night or Tuesday

Yup, G-BWGL is going to live in the Netherlands……

Was registered to “STICHTING HAWKER HUNTER FOUNDATION” at Leeuwarden in March 2007..

That’s somewhat double up. Stichting and Foundation:D

A new dimension in Dutch historic aviation. Where will it all end?

Hopefully on the runway.
