Just a quick update – Hunter canopy spotted by Pure Lightning collected today – thanks again mate!

On collection

Bottom canopy rails sadly not great so removed but perspex is spot on:

Will combine existing frame with new glass…et voila!

Thanks again for your help….just need a ladder and an ADEN now!

Dear Chaps,

Thanks for your kind help – especially Pure Lightning! We picked up the canopy off ebay last night -would have completely missed it but for your sharp eyes! Hopefully we may be able to put the furniture off the old canopy onto the new plexi – failing which we will have a word with Nev and can simply re-ebay this one!

Now just need a crew ladder and a 30mm cannon!

That’s gonna need a fair bit of work to get the rails working again (speaks from experience) but the plex looks pretty good. For 99p……….

I bought one from Nev, crated, bagged and covered in that evil protective gunk, and it was one of the best purchases I made. Very few good ones about now I fear.

And crew ladders ARE about … I bought mine from a dealer at Shoreham earlier in the year for £20 😀

Hunter Canopy

I have a clear Hunter canopy which may be available, but only if it’s going on an aeroplane that’s kept under cover.
