Hunter Photos/info

As some of you folks might know, I’ve been working on a rather large new book on the Hunter for some time and it’s pretty-much completed now.

Thought it might be worth a final “heads-up” to ask if anyone has any unsual or interesting Hunter photos which they think might be worth including. Naturally, I’m obliged to include the usual development shots and the “standard” images we’ve all seen before, but it would be nice to have some stuff which hasn’t been seen too often – makes the book a little more interesting and a little different from all the standard “potted history” books.

Not after anything in particular, but any interesting shots would be very welcome, be they RAF, FAA, export versions etc. I’m quite keen to track-down shots of the many and various RAE machines as some of these have not been photographed all that often. Likewise, any unusual markings, paint schemes, weapons fits, etc…

The text for the book is largely complete but if anyone has any snippets they’d like to add, anecdotes, information of whatever, I’d love to hear from you!
