Hunter vs. MiG-17

We have all heard of these two 1950’s hot-rods. The British Hawker Hunter is probably on of the sleekest airplanes ever to fly and it could hit Mach 1 in a dive. Later in its life, it was armed with AGM-65 Maverick and AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles. I think Zimbabwe still operates Hunter Mk.58’s. I am not sure if they use AIM-9 or not and I am almost certain that Switzerland was the only country to use AGM-65’s on its Hunters. Now as for the MiG-17, it was from the same time frame and was very comparable in performance. I don’t know if it ever hit Mach 1 or not, but I am sure it got close. It was armed with everything from AA-1 and AA-2 missile to rocket pods and bombs. Which aircraft do you think is the better fighter?
