Hi all,
did anyone on here have any photo’s of WT616 (complete Aircraft) on weston fire dump from 1962-80 ?
and does anyone remember where the fire dump is ??. I only ask due to the fact walking the airfield I found , or should i say “Tripped” over the bottom half of a canopy, complete with rollers etc, partially poking out the ground
I did own a Hunter Canopy , and this rail looks very very simaller
i wondered if i had stumbled on some bits left over from the fire dump, also
found a 1.5 x 1,5ft panel, or should i say its a piece more akin to a bite taken from a large scrapping jcb….
any Ideas ??. Or any memories of scrapping at the airfield at weston ?
I was told of a line of Austers which were torched at weston , in 1946
