Hunter XL577

This jet departed Kemble today on delivery to the Jordanian AF historic flight, with the c/s RJAF577. I do wonder how they got around the grounding of the Hunters?

Anyway I hope they look after her.:D

The CAA could have also issued a restricted permit to test and ferry, happens sometimes with various types.

They did the same 20 odd years ago, with the Buccs that were tested and then ferry flown out of the UK to Thunder City in SA.

I know its now a Jordanian military aircraft now, but when it had its one and only test flight it was still using its British civilian reg as its c/s, which I found interesting.
At the end of the day its a shame the Hunter’s days are now numbered.

It’s only the CAA that grounded the Hunters. They are now Jordanian military aircraft hence no grounding. Same as the two ZZ serialed Hunters that HHA use are not grounded.
