Murray has almost completed the rebuild of the P-47G wings, shame they didn’t show the P-40F!

is this gonna be a series or just a one off?

Is Murray the guy who is rebuilding the TFC P47G wings?

I advised Murray not to give up his day job!
A lost opportunity. Murray said they shot a lot of good material but did not use it.

They seemed to always follow the same formula for these types of programmes, long periods of boring hunting and searching, and don’t show the final find till the last few seconds. However, there was plenty of wreckage to see at the crash sites, but again they skimmed over it, the stuff in the jungle they trekked 6 hours to get to was amazing to see.

Although it was a lot better than most of these types of programmes I have seen to date. Programme makers just don’t get it, people want to see lots of wreckage or aircraft parts after all it is a programme about a particular type of aircraft !

Anybody see this last night? Really good program. Gerry Yagen came across as a really passionate guy. I thought it was hilarious when he couldn’t get hold of murray!!

Has this been recovered yet?
