Thanks for that. It’s fantastic that we now have these aircraft operating in the South.

Why not search G-CHTK on the CAA site where you will see the details?

re;
This is good to see (the Hurricane gaining deserved public exposure in increasing numbers) but these aircraft being based here sadly does not guarantee any ‘dream’ airshow scenarios. That requires the airshow organisers to percieve the public demand, reach out to the operators and book aircraft in advance in numbers and at not inconsiderable expense.
At Biggin Hill 2000 I think it was 18 Spits, 2 Hurricanes and The Blenheim – a sight which a few years before would have been impossible, so who knows we might one day get 18 Hurricanes, its not physically impossible, but it wont happen soon!

Sadly this is the problem.

Maybe the Spitfire – Hurricane ratio at Shoreham Airshow’s BoB re-enactment will be a little more even in future haha

Hurricanes at Kenley would be my choice!

Would love to see all the UK’s examples do a mass scramble and flypast from RAF Northolt later this year to mark the 75th Anniversary of the first Hurricanes entering service with 111 there in 1938.

Pretty excited at the prospect of maybe seeing a mass Hurricane fly-by one day 😀

To be fair, some of them are really Canadian, so here is not quite ‘home’.
By: Bob - 20th February 2013 at 15:25
Slowly bringing them home…
Good to hear.
