Hurricane Explored CD ROM available, impressions?

I see that Flyingzonedirect has now released their Hurricane Explored CD-ROM, the latest in the series.

From the previews it looks very interesting.

Does anyone have this?

Received my Hurricane Explored CD yesterday. Well worth the money, lots and lots of lovely photographs. I really like how when you are looking at a detailed image, you can click on the location button and it will display a smaller image that shows where this image is on the aircraft. Nice feature.

I haven’t worked out yet if it’s possible to page between full-size images- hopefully it is. Presently I am returning to the thumbnail image to select the next one.

Certainly recommended for those with a keen interest in the Hurricane.

looks good, but why is the Spitfire later spade grip illustrated???!!!.

So what actually is the difference between the Spitfire and Hurricane spade grip, I would like to get a grip on this (sorry- couldn’t help myself).
This talk on spade grips makes me wish I had purchased one of the replica spade grips that were advertised on Flypast(?) many years ago.

Another thing Andy is the showing of a BBMF hurricane’s oxy bottle stowage cover off exposing the non-standard cargo area only used on BBMF aircraft.

It does look a good resource, though with copious use of coloured in Hurricane manual piccies….there are some static projects out there that have
accurate layouts etc for modellers…still looks ok though!:)

Tony

That was the first thing I spotted, too.

Must admit that it rather put me off the package.

These are not original Hurricane items….I have only seem them fitted (once) to a modern restoration and that was probably due to the fact a tranch of them was found in the late 80s and they are more plentiful than the correct variety.

Not this one, but I have the Halifax one and seen the Lancaster one too and the quality is fabulous. Everything you wanted to know about the type represented and more (apart from the kitchen sink, but I could have missed that one as there is soo much information).
Recommended.
How about one on the a Blenheim/Bolingbroke or Defiant or or or or
Cees
