Just looking through avbuyer.com and saw this advertised for £25K. I know the HAC one didn’t sell at Bonhams but I thought this was a bit of a drop. Turns out it’s a replica painted as Townsend’s aircraft. Is that the going rate for one of these?

Nice thought D-R but I need a new engine before I spend that sort of money (even if i had it!).

It’s not one of those Italian jobs – pardon the pun!
The Italian replica is nice – but the Sindlinger version has better proportions without looking too cartoonish.

Not sure which other organisation’s build them, but there are these kit planes…
This is an Italian light-sport aircraft, designed and produced by Flying Legend of Caltagirone and introduced in 2011. The aircraft, is approximately 2/3 scale replica of the Hawker Hurricane.

They cost €107980 each (which is a lot less when converted to £’s if anyone can do the math)…
