Hello, I am looking for informations (tecnical and/or historical) that it is possible to deduce from this plate (see image enclosed).
Every information is welcome.
Many thanks.

G5 is Gloster built, though it was probably just that component’s number

Probably G5-102369 is the CONSTRUCTION NUMBER.

Mauro – any idea where it was found – ie was it still attached to any airframe part?

Hurricane identification
Probably the serial was corrected.
I read: SERIAL G5 – 102369

I make the plate to read:
Type Hurricane
Serial Gb/102369
Mod 17
Mod 103
Mod 80
Mod 141
It does not mean anything to me but maybe someone will be able to make something of that.

It looks like “G8/102369”
Could this be a Gloster-built aircraft?

Need the number immediately below the ‘HURRICANE’ word. The numbers in boxes are purely modification numbers…I can tell you what they mean, but it does not id the Hurri.
