I’ve just been looking through the fighter command losses 39-41 and stumbled across the name P/O K Maglashan(on 31st May 1940) which I recognised as the name associated with Hawker Hurricane P2902 on the airshow circuit today.
The book in question has the Hurricanes serial as N2702 not P2902.
Are they the same hurricane or am I missing something
Can anyone shed any light on this?

P2902 was being flown by K B McGlashan when he forcelanded on the beach at Dunkirk
The reference to N2702 is incorrect as this crashed near Dieppe on the 17th May 1940
Both aircraft were with 245 Squadron
