A “museum I know” in Australia has been given a large scale model of a Hurricane from a deceased estate that is marked as P3395 with RAF 32 squadron codes GZ-V, and we are keen to understand why the builder has modelled this particular airframe.
The Manchester museum has a mark IV Hurricane KX829 painted as the mark I Hurricane P3395 but wearing RAF 1 squadron codes JX-B
Seperately online references have GZ-V being RAF 32 squadron codes apparantly worn by P3522 and/ or P3533, (its unclear if the aircraft serial numbers have been confused or if two seperate aircraft have carried the code?)
Can anyone confirm P3395 ever flew with 32 Squadron after its service with 1 squadron and what its full service history and ultimate fate was?
Can anyone confirm if there is any “Australian” link to the aircraft in terms of known pilots etc?

I think you are probably right, Antoni.
In any event, there is no doubting that P3533 was lost in France on 18 May 1940.

P3522 was photographed at Hawkinge on the 31st July 1940 coded GZ*V. There is no doubt about the serial number it can be seen clearly. (Hurricane at War, Chaz Bowyer, page 36.)
Possible reasons for it being confused as P3533 are misreading it from a poor quality photograph or P3533 being entered in the ORB in error or someone misreading an ORB entry.
