Can anyone help identify this item. Its supposed to be Hurricane but I can’t place it unless its a CCF MOD.
There is a part number on the aluminium strap although it may only be a partial one ?
I was thinking of something behind the pilots seat possibly radio ?? but it wouldn’t be accessible at that location

You can see the bracket on this picture of PZ865 as she is now. The control is no longer fitted. PZ865 used to have a very stock cockpit, save for some important modern accoutrements. If I can, I’ll post a pic of what it used to look like prior to it’s big 80s major work.

Not many Hurris have them fitted nowadays. I think PZ865 might not have hers fitted anymore

its the later recognition flare handle plate fitted to the plate linking the wood to the tubes (in one place!) Fitted to Mk2
