Hurricane Prototype- shown in move "Test Pilot"?

If you go to TCM.com you can vote to have Turner Classic Movies release it on DVD.

Now my Mum could convert from VHS to DVD, only problem she is in PAL land and I am in NTSC land- this sounds too complicated. Need to find another Mum in NTSC land…..

NOT released on DVD, but here it is on VHS, but probably only NTSC!:(

Hi JDK, thanks for the confirmation. Glad to find out first hand that you weren’t joking about the prototype Hurricane making an appearance in the “Test Pilot” movie.

Now all I have to do is find a copy on DVD.

Interesting clip from the movie ‘Things to Come’ which you posted a link to that shows the Hawker ‘Intermediate’ Fury intercepting a Percival Mew Gull. Neat looking aircraft that Mew Gull.

Mason’s magnum opus on the Hurricane has an extract from S Wroath’s logbook flying K5083 as appendix II, with multiple flights on 27th August and 8th October 1937 for the film listed.

Incidentally, the Hawker ‘Intermediate’ Fury appears in ‘Things to Come’ intercepting a Percival Mew Gull type. So presumably Hawkers were not adverse to helping in films…
