Hurricane recovery off Libya . . .huh?

In the new Flypast magazine there is an article regarding the proposed recovery of a Hurricane that ditched taking the pilot with it. The pilot is MIA.

Funds, help etc are requested and an email address is provided . . .I am interested in this but I know of a previous thread here that ran for a while and called into question the legitimacy of the, it would seem, party intending to recover the Hurri.

Does anyone know any more than me? The article refers purely to recovering the aircraft – there is no mention of the consideration of the mortal remains of the pilot, a chap called KING.
