Having just had a look at the rather fabulous Hurricane Strikes Back thread I’ve just had a thought.
Apart form being the only known Hurricane to have fabric wings L1592 is also one of the few Hurricanes I can think of to have a deHavilland prop and spinner (I think there is at least one in Finland).
At the time of the Battle of Britain Hurricanes were being fitted with Rotol props with rather blunt spinners. If memory serves right these were the same Rotol units fitted to the Spitfire Mk.II.
The thing I was wondering is, does anybody know if any of these blunt Rotol spinners survive?

Slight back pedal. The Rotol units for the Sipt II and Hurri I were slightly different. The spinner types I’m thinking of are the ES/4 & ES/5 for the Siptfire Mk.II and the ES/6 for the Hurricane. ES/6 spinners also found their way onto the early reconnaissance Spitfire D.
