I am trying to identify several hydraulic actuators as shown in the photos below. Some are mounted on frames as shown, some are not. They have various markings on them, but all have the same part number, 80-02-02. These numbers have different suffixes, so we have 80-02-02-0882×5, 80-02-02-0050, 80-02-02-0568, 80-02-02-0829×2, 80-02-02-0881×7, 80-02-02-0067×7, 80-02-02-0049x4P4, 80-02-02-0382×5, 80-02-02-0068x6P2 and 80-02-02-0050x3P2.
Does anyone know what these are specifically and what aircraft they would have been fitted to? Any information will be gratefully received.

Wow, FoxVC10, thanks for that. Not what I was expecting, but certainly makes sense. Presumably these would have operated the control surfaces?

Bristol Bloodhound Mk 1 and II.
part number format is Bristol Missiles section ref of 77DD
Fairly agricultural anyway

Bill,
Thanks for this, but I’m pretty certain they are aviation related. The ones not in frames look fairly standard, if not particularly large. I’m not sure why a few are in these frames, but they all have the same part number, so I’m sure they are all from the same application, and I don’t think it is agricultural in any way.

Hmmmmm !!!! Interesting.
Hi Ian,
It look’s pretty agricultural to me. More like some sort of heavy duty spring ram /Buffer unit as i cannot see any Hyd. pipe connections. It seems to be all steel construction suggesting non Aircraft or ground use.
There is a flat machined face that looks like it attaches onto something else. Maybe it is old simulator moving/buffering gear or ship board item. ??????
LOL
