We have a number of ex RAF Hydraulic test rigs they are the standard types of the 1970’s and 1980’s. They are both 2 and 4 cylinder petrol engined but one has a fault. It was working fine but now when you push the handle to engague the clutch it will not engague. It seems as though it needs adjusting but we cannot see how this can be done. We have changed the clutch but still no change. The brass fittings may be worn in the disc that pushes the clutch over.
Does anyone have any ideas or a manual.

We have a 4 cyinder rig, i think it’s a Mk5 but may be wrong. Our clutch would’nt engage at one point, and we ended up stripping it down to find it was a minor amount of corrosion on the mechanism that pushes the clutch plate in, but it was enough to prevent it engaging properly.
It’s fine now and we have managed to get a manual which may be of use as it has 2 & 4 cyl models in it, but it’s in use at present as we have a minor fuel problem on the carb (Solex).
Where are you based, we may be able to assist ?
