Hello,
I’d like to share with You a map which I’ve created. It gathers all low-cost routes available from all UK airports. Hope You will find it useful! Any feedback would be appreciated;)
The map is on:
mapfly.co.uk – interactive map of all cheap flights from UK
Thanks

Hi Guys, I have a question to You.
Do You think Air Southwest routes should be included to the map? I know it’s not a typical low-cost airline… But anyway, thair prices are getting lower and lower.
Cheers

Great map!
I think you’ve forgotten an NCL service, but I don’t know whether or not it’s low cost.
Wideroe – Stavager
Hi! Yes, its a bit problematic with Wideroe. I’ve just checked lowest fares from Newcastle to Stavanger. It’s about 150 GBP return, which is not too bad but also not that cheap. However, they fly only 4 routes from UK so it won’t be any harm if I put them to Flyography 😉
And about Air Berlin… It’s the same thing as in case of Wideroe. They fly just few routes from UK…

Looking at Belfast City, the Flybe Paris direct route stopped some time ago otherwise great effort!
P.S. The Newquay from Belfast City did operate summer only until last year but did not return this year since Jet2 announced the route from Belfast International.

Great map, really like it.
Just a though, but would Air Berlin fall into the low cost category?

Well done with this, really like this, maybe in a future edition you could expand to non lo-cos too?
Keep up the good work! 🙂

The map shows flights to/from UK or Ireland only. Tromso (Norway) is a northernmost point of the map (Norwegian from Gatwick).
I’m working on other versions to cover all Europe 🙂

I don’t know if i am working the map wrong, but can’t see any low cost airlines to the north of scandinavia? Alesund, bodo etc?
Nice little tool though, well done

Very interesting project and welcome to our Forum, Gajos! It is interesting that there do not appear to be ANY Loco airlines in France.
Nothing is cheap in France except the Women

Looking better! As you don’t have any advertising, presumably this is a labour of love?
Clicked on Southampton and it shows 32 routes as cheap flights. This leads me to wondering what the definition of a cheap flight would be?

Very good, well done. Some constructive criticism if I may, can you change the colours of your maps? maybe to some better contrasting colours, white land? light blue sea? then thinner lines etc? this is only a minor point but I think better colours would make it better on the eye.

Thanks for opinions! The map will be updated regularly.
Newforest, I don’t know any French low-cost airline…

Transavia France has been set up as a low cost operator. They already started some flights, but more will be added over the coming weeks/months. At the moment they got a fleet of four F- registered B737-800s in regular Transavia livery.
