I am Flying with Belavia this weekend anybody here flown with them?

This sunday my wife and i will be flying to Belarus with Belavia on there 737, I was wondering if anybody else has flown with them and if so what are they like to fly with?.
I have to admit i have only ever flown BA or Easyjet in the past and tend to prefer BA after a bad experience with the other.

Normally we would fly to Warsaw and get a train to Belarus but this year due to problems getting visa for Poland for my wife(queues etc) we have gone for Belavia and paid 3times as much so i am hoping for a good safe service for my money.

I actually did an aviation trip (by road) to Belarus some years ago…….makes Cuba look modern and advanced!I’d be reluctant to travel on any Belarus registered a/c unless it was rare and I was desperate to add it to my “types flown” list.I hope you’ve got a good reason to go there as nobody would go there without one

A little bit of info. about Belavia and Ireland, ‘a lesser known airline’, doesn’t exactly inspire confidence!

And if you don’t like bad news, don’t read this, no fatalities.

I have never been to Belarus myself but I have only ever heard horrendous things about Belavia.

Think Aeroflot pre 1990…
