I can’t belive no one mentioned Adolf Galland (Re who was the best?)
For his success during the Battle Of Britain!

Depends on your definition of the Battle of Britain timeframe. IIRC, officially it’s between 01/07/40 and 31/10/40.
In which case Galland scored 36, which still puts him as top during the Battle, with Oesau 2nd with 32, Wick 3rd with 31 and Molders 4th with 29.

I wouldn’t have. I rate Helmuth Wick as higher. But then, I’d rate John Dundas higher still.
