Don’t dislocate your arm patting yourself on the back. 😉
Cheeky chap!!
I was just pleased to be able to help him.
Sadly my observatory skills are lacking as I get older!
Besides, if I don’t pat myself on the back, who will 🙂
ps note smiley present on both of my postings!

thanks for the help, i thought it was a mossie but wasn’t quite sure. two merlin 25 right hand engines were nearby but nothing else.
the parts are located at chino airport in california (kcno).
not quite vintage but nearby were 4 single seat saab j-35 draken and a two seater, all in storage,
no registration numbers visable though.

Just googled the aircraft and this is what I found.
No fire but plenty of rot according to this page 🙂
Septic.

Thanks for posting the shots, Homer21.
Would the location be a US or Canadian airport by any chance, I believe the wing is from the former Mexican registered Mosquito B35 TA717 (XB-TOX), the wreck of which at one time was owned by the CAF. If I remember rightly the aircraft was damaged by fire in the late 60’s-early 70’s as Les Hunts 1967 edition of Vintage and Veteran Aircraft has a photograph of a complete airframe.
The last owner I can find listed is a Jim Merizan who was located in California.
Septic.

Hi Homer21,
Welcome to the forum.
Yes, certainly Mosquito. As this isn’t exactly a common or garden aircraft, care to elaborate on which airportt and when? And yes, we’d like a some more pics…
Cheers,
