I.D this undercarriage leg

Anybody know what this U/C leg is off ?

VICKERS OLEO PNEUMATIC STRUT
SHT/1/92219 serial no 1028 VAS LH issue c
VAS 1028 LH 2 91413 J067

strut is 4′ high with 1’4″ drum diameter.

Probably Sea Otter.

Beautiful stainless amphibian construction.

Wow ! , that’s a belter – any history behind it ??? , while there is a tenuous link here – does anybody have some recent info / photos of D1ck Melton’s Walrus ?? , one project I would love to see flying . RNHF perhaps ??? – if only.
