Hi Fellow Forumites..
I have a awkward question to ask, It looks like I have soon secured a cockpit.
But its New home isnt ready yet. and I am stuck for short term storage,I say short term, But I would say one year Maximum, although I would want to get her nearer, sooner the better. Can ANYONE.. Or Museum Help??, the nearer to Bristol area the better
Her dimensions are 14ft L x 6ft H x 5ft W wieght 500 Kg
She is unusual and the only one of her type in the UK, and pretty messed up, but due to its rarity it is a Valid aircraft cockpit from the cold war that warrants saving,
I wont go into anymore details as of yet.. But felt the Forum with its Vast Membership from nearly every museum and Restorers and Individuals ,I thought it was a Valid Point of call to ask.
I hope you all dont mind me asking ?
anyone who could possibly help please PM Me

Merkle why not go to one of those places that rents shipping containers in a secure compound with 24 hour security?
When stuck for a home with the Meteor I approached a local company who were more than happy to store her in the corner of their yard for a few months at a more than reasonable monthly charge.

You don’t make it clear if you are looking for a freebie or are prepared to pay rent.
