I DONT UNDERSTAND! PLEASE HELP!

hi,
ive been “into” aviation for a while now! but what i cant understand is why the hell the RAF doesnt buy some F-16’s? or some MIG 29’s? or some gripens? or some better fighters than they already have?

why have they stayed with the crappy tornado? and the jaguar? they need more of a punch in the airforce! also, im 14, and i wanted to know! are the RAF buying EUROFIGHTERS? cos im goin in to the RAF to be a pilot when i leave CRANWELL!
