I know I started a thread about getting my first job in aviation but I tihnk this calls for another thread.
I got a call about 10 minutes ago from Servisair to say I was succesful in my interview yesterday and will start on May 16th.
Im so excited.
3 and half weeks of training with 36 exams will be tough but Im up for it.

I will hopfully become a passenger service agent. Check in,boarding and arrival services. So hopfully Ill get a few minutes on board plenty of planes this summer.

Just to let you all know I have now got written confirmation and will sign a contract to work for Servisair until 31st October providing I pass a 10 year Airport police/Garda exam.

Don’t worry about the exams, if you don’t know the answer to something, the trainer will probably tell you anyway (in a roundabout way of course) 😀

Excellent news Shamrock – if you get some comms training, make sure you keep us posted on the freqs used so that we can listen to you at work while sitting alongside 28 spotting 😉 😉 😉

Alot of the exams will be airport/airlin codes,safty,check in boarding procedures,customer service etc.
I did a smaller version of it at christmas and got 100% so hopfully it will all go according to plan.
