Well guys im back and i can see Britain is having a good summer 😀 where to begin eh? i know, on both flights to Florida my Pilot was Pete Kynsey fantastic i met the guy at check-in on the way back. got stuck in Hurricane Charley on day 2 of my holiday and was very sorry to hear about mr Reilly’s aircraft and wish him and warbird the best for the future. went to Fantasy of flight (pictures to follow later). fantastic museum and wonderful display by the TP-40N, love that aircraft. thats all for now, can some body update me on latest comings and goings on the warbird circuit, thanks guys,

Im looking forward to Duxford now not long is it?
Duxford is fairly long, hence why they have that bus thingy to get lazy people such as myself from one end to the other.
I do appreciate that it’s not as long as it was before the M11 went through it.

Reminds me of a Virgin B.747 flight to LAX back in 1999. Pilot and First Officer was Bob Bees, ex-11 Sqn. Lightnings and later Tyndal AFB based Eagle driver….:cool:
Had a good chat in baggage reclaim at LAX upon landing, he was a bit taken aback that he was recognised by one of his passengers….. 😀

well Y11F only got a few pics of mustangs, but a P-39 in a similar guise to the 1 based at Duxford has arrived at Fantasy of flight (unfortunatly no pics), a P-38 has appeared there now and his second P-40 is nearly complete. Im looking forward to Duxford now not long is it?
