dark light

I heard a lovely engine noise this morning that took me back to my childhood…

…anyone care to guess what the aircraft was?

Clue: I was born in 1972 and grew up in Helston, Cornwall – oh and I now live in Newbury.

Oh my, all that day-glo….i’m not sure I can contain myself!

I’d like to get our Pembroke painted up in its old 2TAS scheme, but everyone at work thinks I have some bizzare day-glo fetish

I would guess Pembroke as well…..

Percival Pembroke….. as in very much the same as a Sea Prince (different wingspan… generally less Dayglo paint, apart from that identical-ish)…

…but not ours, although it should be flying very soon!

Obviously not a Shackleton, probably not a Nimrod.

Dragon Rapide, as used to do the flight to the Scillies?
