I need a new set of eyes on this please

First of all sorry for posting this here.

I was unable to get mechanical turk to work, when i tried the search for steve fosset thing.

I did however use my normal google earth, and came up with this.

I have tried to get some feedback in a number of forums, but with no luck, so i tried here, because i know you guys never leave this page 😉

My and a friend can see a light aircraft in this picture, but can anyone else?

Just south/east of the marker.

The incerted line is 10 meters.

And i promise that i will never post wrong topic in forum again…

Hi Mondariz, Where did you find this pic ? If it was G/earth then it will tell you latitude & longitude etc., then you might be able to contact local authorities & ask questions.

Cheers TASSE.

Thanks for your interest. I have found a way to report G/earth findings, and send that one along to the search team.

SW…Naturally, thats why i dont fly myself :p

I wouldnt know where to report it, as its not from the mechanical turk.

Anyway i can’t look at it any longer, i just see the AC shape. Even if i invert various things in GIMP shop.

No need, you can switch off the ‘Fossett’ imagery yourself – look under ‘places’ and untick it.

The underlying image is so low res that it tells you nothing.

If I were you I’d report it as a ‘suspicion’. Better to do that than to not bother.

BTW – The anomaly is SW of your marker, not SE

I did download the image update, so the area should be current.

Would be nice if someone WITHOUT the update could check the location. Actually that would be some kind facit.

Here is the kmz file

Well unless you’ve downloaded the satellites of the area the imagery is too old for it to be Mr Fossett.

I can see a sort of aeroplane shape in the light and shadow.. I’d write it off as just a trick of the light but my expertise in photo-interpretation is no better than yours.

Can you upload the co-ordinates?

Moggy
