I need to know the answer to these questions?

On the 2nd August we are tavelling to Bulgaria.
We booked our holiday with Balken Holidays so i naturally assumed we would be going with BH Air or “Balken Holidays Air”

On a letter we recieved it stated that we would be travelling with”Biman Bangladesh Airlines”, i was curious so i went to airliners.net to find some photos of the aircraft we may be travelling on.
On closer inspection of the photos they were all took at London Heathrow but we are departing from Birmingham?

1. Is it possible for this airline to vist Birmingham on a one-off vist?

Today we recieved our tickets, it stated we were travelling “via carrier BGH”

2. Is this a abbriviation for “Biman Bangladesh Airlines” or not?

On top of the tickets it also said they were “issued on behalf of carrier BH AIR”So i am confused

3. Are we travelling with BH Air or are we travelling with this unidentified airline which may or may not be “Biman Bangladesh Airline”?

Can you help?

There must have been some sort of error with the agent’s system or some similar problem. You would definitely be with Balkan Holidays (Hemus Air) and looking around you would be on an A320 from BHX, unlucky you considering other airports receive the TU-154 πŸ˜‰ I assume you are flying to Varna on the 2nd August? I took the liberty, therefore, to look at the Balkan Holidays brochure, which I have it here, and by all accounts everything points to the companies very own airline rather than a lease or flight operated on behalf of another airline.

Enjoy your holiday. Bulgaria seems like an up and coming holiday resort.
